No. Under normal conditions, the female breast undergoes cyclical changes such as tenderness or lumpiness, related to hormonal variations of the menstrual cycle and age. Breast lumps can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous) However, no breast lump should be dismissed as benign until it has been checked by a physician.
